Jesus came to this earth two thousand and seven years ago looking for anyone. Yes, that's right, anyone.

Anyone who was hungry. Anyone who was broken. Anyone who was sick. Anyone who was misunderstood. Anyone who had sinned. Anyone who was thirsty.

He didn't come looking for the best-dressed, most-educated preacher in the church, though that man was welcome to come to Him, too. He didn't come to fill up people that were already full of themselves, though He'd be there if they came to the end of their rope.

Jesus came to this earth looking for the "anyones."
Anyone who was in desperate need of a Savior.
Anyone who would believe that they could be healed if they could just touch Him.
Anyone who was flat out tired of the problems they were facing and needed a real solution.
Anyone who was really hungry. Who was really thirsty.

He came to find and save the lost ones. You. And me.
The people whose souls were dry from the drain of life and in need of a "fill-up."

In John 7:37-39 [nlt], Jesus stands up in the middle of a preacher's sermon and shouts:

"ANYONE who is thirsty may come to me! ANYONE who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, 'Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.'"

And This was no ordinary water that he invited people to come and drink! Let's read about it in John 4:14:

Whosoever (Anyone who) drinks the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life."

Forget looking for the Fountain of Youth! Whoever drinks from this fountain will live eternally! And anyone who will come is invited! That means You. That means me!

You might be reading this today and be thinking, "I certainly qualify as an "Anyone", and I'd like to come and have a drink and live forever, but I don't know how." Or, "I feel so drained and worn out. The pressures of life-- school, work, bills, family. They all get to me and I am so thirsty. I need that refreshment Jesus was talking about."

Well, friend, it's pretty easy to come and receive. The Word of God says in Romans 10:9-10 that if ANYONE will confess [or speak] with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and really believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you WILL be saved. And that spring of water that flows from Jesus Christ to anyone who is thirsty will begin to flow directly to you. It'll change your life, and quench that thirst deep inside of you.

If you're tired of being thirsty and feel that you'd like to give your life to the Lord today or tonight, just say this prayer aloud and believe that eternal life through Jesus Christ is yours:

Heavenly, Father, I am thirsty. I am hungry. There is an emptiness in my life that only you can fill. I repent of my sins, and I ask you to wash me clean today. I believe that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that you raised Him up from the dead. Thank you for making me a new creature, and filling me up with your Holy Spirit. I dedicate to live my life for you from this day forward and to walk and talk with you each day. In Jesus' name, Amen.

If you prayed this prayer for the first time, please send us a message and we will get some free information to you. Or, if you would rather, tell a good Christian friend or pastor that you have just asked Jesus to come into your life.

And congratulations on the best decision of your life!
